I have always been in love with Nature, but my passion for precious materials was born in me suddenly and casually. After the high school I decided to follow this new interest, attending the GIA (Gemological Institute of America) and graduating in Gemology. After some years of experience in a trade company, in 1997 I founded “Pregigemme” with a partner, spending time in searching and marketing of fine rough and cut stones. In those years I started travelling around the world, expecially in Brazil, and going directly to the sources to select the best for my customers. Besides Brazil, I also visit Usa, Africa and the far East. The 9th of January 2103, I founded with my wife Paola “Pregi snc”, and together we decide to open an office-showroom in our living town, Busto Arsizio. As the travels and the fairs were day after day more numerous and harder, from January 2014 Isabella has been working with us, helping us expecially with mineral specimens with her know how. Two years later Pregi’s foundation, I’m really proud of what we are building, conscious that the most important thing is trying to reach higer quality standards and never stop. New travels, new experiences, new people to meet, new “crystal beauties” are waiting to be discovered, and for sure I have the same enthusiasm I had years ago, when I started this adventure.
Paola
I take care of style and management of Pregi snc. For many years I worked in Tourism and traveling has always been one of my greatest passion. When, the 9th of January 2013, me and my houseband Emanuele decided to found Pregi snc, it was a great opportunity for me to follow this hobby, as I started to go around the world to attend at the most important fairs. I also followed, step by step, the preparation of our showroom in Busto Arsizio, taking isnpiration from the simply beauty of minerals and gemstones. Nature creates perfect masterpieces that we only need to enhance in the best way; that’s why I decided to use natural elements such as wood, or to utilize specific tecniques to obtain a very natural and impactful effect. Day by day I’m also learning more and more about gemstones, rough and minerals, loving this world at 360 degrees.
